About the Company

The BESTER Plywood Manufacturing Plant is a family company with over 30 years of experience in the wood processing industry. The plant produces profiled plywood used as elements for furniture - particularly chairs - and other goods.

History

Prior to commencing the production of plywood, the founder of the Company, Mr. Stanislaw Bester, produced furniture by commission. His factory was well known and appreciated in the local market, to the extent that some orders were placed three years in advance and many pieces still stand today in the homes of his customers. In 1994, as the successor to a private business employing 4 people, in place of the old product range, we started producing bent and glued elements for furniture. Most of the machines and equipment were constructed according to the owner’s ideas. The first profiles were used for the production of school chairs and constituted the main product of the company. These profiles are still in mass production today.

In 1999 a civil partnership commenced operations at the current location of Wysoka near Lancut.

Subsequent years saw the plant develop, with the introduction of new models of seats and rests for upholstered chairs, armchairs and auditorium seats, as well as bent furniture elements. Currently we have many plywood profiles of our own, and we also produce profiles according to specimens presented by our customers. We offer birch and beech plywood, and with any other veneer you may desire.
